Process Solution
Where there is a will, there is a way. The first step was to understand the variability in how customers order, unique promises made and all the possible order configurations. We then set-out to consolidate variables into a cohesive standard process while still allowing for flexibility in the design.
Lastly, we put the responsibility back on the customer to complete and verify the order, NOT the food vendor. This also helped reduce errors and promoted ownership were it belonged—with the customer.
